        The Swiss agency for development and cooperation (SDC) is seeking to recruit a Construction oversight company (COC) for works to be undertaken in Ifakara (Morogoro region, Tanzania). The COC will be first-line responsible for the implementation of construction related recommendations of a feasibility study conducted in 2017. The works to be supervised are the renovation and new construction of clinical, surgical and support services hospital buildings (Class 5 Tanzania architects and quantity surveyors by-laws). The anticipated scope of work will include the development of preliminary and detailed designs (architectural and design, mechanical — electrical — and plumbing design, civil and structural design, quantity surveying), supervision of works by a construction company (to be selected through separate tender), and management of the defect and liability period.
